To help drive more visitors to their website, LRT needed a reworking of the existing website to make it simpler to build out pages and increase organic and planning paid traffic


Portland Art Museum Exhibit
Building on the interest established from our other exhibits, we undertook our most ambitious exhibition yet with a partnership with Portland Art Museum. This Interactive exhibit & Store established PAM's most successful install in a decade.

NAMOO Art of Book
To tie in with the award winning animated short Namoo, this book was created that highlighted the film making process and art that went into creating the short.


Mobile Game Development
Development of a range of games, mostly for mobile devices. The work here included design, asset delivery, animation review and approvals, gameplay, and creative direction. Some of the games that have been created through this project include Coraline button eye yourself, where users can upload a photo and select button eyes, and 2 bit Bub, a mobile game where players collect rings as a ghost named Bub.


Costume Characters
Working closely with Shafton Puppets, I led the project on recreating the characters of the LAIKA movies into life size costume characters. Below are some examples of those costume characters at some of the events where we used them.


Movie Release Field Promotions
This project showcases the partnership work of movie tie-in field promotions. The project features a range of supporting items including VIP replica gifts, McDonald's happy meal toys, fan outreach letterheads and thank you cards, and even chocolate bar tie-ins and juice company partnerships. Additionally, supporting publishing books for all ages are also included. This also highlights the creative and effective methods businesses are using to promote their brand and engage their audience.

Partner books for the movies that highlighted the film making process and art that went into creating these movies.


Free Movie Sundays
Working with Living Room Theaters to build out and promote a series of free movie screening of old titles to encourage people to return to cinemas post COVID.


PIC New website
As part of the release of a new product, PIC needed a new website designed and built, that leveraged the current brand used on their main website.


San Diego ComicCon - LAIKA store
LAIKA opened a store at SDCC to test the waters for fan's consumer products appetite and interest in seeing behind the scenes sets, props and puppets.


NIKE Promo Shoes
Partnering with NIKE and the legendary Tinker Hatfield, we created movie tie-in promotional shoes. These shoes are sure to impress both sneakerheads and movie fans alike.


Fast 9 Opening Night Premiere
Opening night event for Living Room Theaters, Indianapolis at their new location. Working closely with local well-known businesses like Indianapolis Sports group (Indy Car), Indianapolis Children's Museum (largest in the USA), Heartland International Film Festival and local Comcast TV Network channels, we hosted a early screening of Fast 9 for market influencers and key partners. Using the event to highlight the high end kitchen and food available, custom cocktails provided from the bar, live music and world class quality viewing environments. We also included key speakers to plus the viewing experience by adding relevant speakers to each screening for people to ask questions about the movie's history, filmmaking process or to highlight a specific part of the movie.


San Diego ComicCon LAIKA LIVE
LAIKA LIVE event at San Diego's Comic Con. Again using this event as a trigger to test fans appetites for our consumer products, experience/exhibit appetite and engage with the fans directly to see what might be successful in the future.


Living Room Theaters Filmmaker Q&As
Helping add experiences to cinema screenings for a independent theater chain, but pulling in filmmakers and VIPs to provide Q&A sessions after the film.

LAIKA Website rebranding
Tasked with rebranding the website, we needed to create a template design that matched the studios aesthetic. Focus began on how best to create a structured repeatable wireframe that could be leveraged for each movie as well as any studio related content. Then an overall creative concept was developed, then the team then had to go about creating designs that could fit into the website templates and be engaging, but still feel an extension of the movies.
